Here's another "elusive chocolate" post for you this long Easter weekend.
Paton's Macadamia Royals. A whole macadamia encrusted in a ever-so-thin layer of crunchy caramel-y toffee (which becomes delectably chewy in the mouth) and then covered by a generous coat of milk chocolate. The macadamia is my favourite nut and I love sticky toffee-y things so the Royals and I became great pals.
We first bought some at our local Vintage Cellar a few months ago and that has been the only place where we can find them (I bought the last eight last week with the intention to share at Ms Carpet's dinner but I ate them all in one day. I'm a bad pal). The Paton website hasn't got a list of stockists so all Chocolate Sleuths (Hello, Megan!) reading this, I would be ever so grateful if you share your source if/when you find some.
