We sure do wear quite a bit of checks and stripes in this household!
The boyfriend even have a set of gingham handkerchiefs (two of them are hanging next to the red shirt). On some days, not on-purpose, the hanky on the top of the pile matches the colours of the shirt that he wears. Never fail to make me laugh.
I also laugh at his handkerchief-using habit. One "cultivated" by his grandpa. The boyfriend has never left home without one since he was 7. Who in this day and age still carries one?! But the fabric squares do come in useful sometimes because I'm not the tissue paper-carrying kind of girl. Especially when my bad nose suddenly decides to misbehave when we're out. Haha. My gal pals find his habit charming - he's offered them his hankies to cry into on many drunken nights when they were shedding tears over lost loves and nasty boyfriends.
Alright, the washing machine is beeping, ready for the next load...

I have lots and lots and lots of hankies, there is always a clean one in every bag I carry. People think they are gross, but I think better for the environment, gentler on noses, and cuter too!
Hey Skye,
Wow! I wouldn't have guessed!
Now I know two people my age who carry hankies!
I have a collection of Hello Kitty and Miffy ones but they were bought for cute-value, not to use. Haha.
I don't think hankies are gross. As long as they are not shared.
Will you be getting the Little Dude into them as well? xx
I love a hankie and I'm your age - they are very helpful...often
Hello Cam,
Another hanky-user! The boyfriend will be happy to hear. Tee hee hee. x
My Papa uses hankies, but he's the only person I know who makes a habit of it. I would never have pictured your boyfriend as the type... He is a very dark horse.
Hello, Grandpa McKinna!
I will let the boyfriend know what you think. xx
