The Easiest Person To Personal Shop For

In my world, it would be my pal Mommy Noi-noi back in Singapore.

She can't refuse anything in grey marle/grey jersey/athletic grey/grey sweat. It's been her "signature" fabric way before I met her years ago. In her wardrobe, you'll find the mottled grey in all its various fashion permutations, from basics to real unique pieces from her pre-babies Atsuro Tayama-buying days. Her love runs so deep that she even has bedsheets in that fabric.

Our gal pals and I, when see something in that trackie-daks-grey, we'd always say, "Oh, that's so Mommy!", usually followed with a call or text with description to see if she would like us to grab it for her. We like to feed her obssession. Like the grey marle tulip skirt I got her recently for Christmas. And this pair of drop-crotch Gorman Farmer Pants in the softest of organic bamboo (so soft that they fall and drape better than my old sage green pair in organic cotton) at their current sale.

To further tempt her, I sent her the link to what I think should be her next purchase.

And I just saw a cheaper and lighter-weight but not as cute or well-made version which I can grab locally and ship off with the pants. (Yes or no, Mommy?).

Do you, like Mommy Noi-noi, have a fabric that so rock your world? I have a weakness for (and a collection of) chambray things but we'll save that for another post.

I love grey marle, too, but it kinda washes me out. I'm too pale to pull it off.

I'm thinking about a fave fabric, but I have to admit I don't have one. Although my family and friends are always pointing out particular styles of clothes and saying, 'that is so you'. I don't know what 'that' is. xx

Hey Tweetness,
Unfortunately, I have the same "colouring" problem so it's out for me too.

Maybe your "that" is not a fabric thing (unless feathers count...haha!). You are easy to shop for too - just buy you stuff with birds on them! xxx
